A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established client directly working in this exciting and historical venue. My client is looking for a Hands-on Supervisor to be based in this iconic building situated a short walk from Knightsbridge.
The successful candidate will ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous supervisory experience. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this very modern site.
 
Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and hands on tasks.
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Report directly into the
  • Assist the Building Services Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract
  • Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside other managers
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors
  • Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Account Manager)
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisory)
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary
 
  • Up to £46,500 per annum
  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00am to 16:30am
  • 22 Days Holiday
Requirements
 
  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified
  • C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 - Essential
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Experience of service delivery in high profile office
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Offer technical support to the Building Service Manager, client and onsite maintenance team
