A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established building services company. My client is looking for an Engineering Manager to be based at a commercial site situated a short walk from Kings Cross station.
The successful candidate will ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous supervisory experience. The role would be perfect for someone looking for progression into a Contract Manager position in the future. Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and managerial tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Report directly into the Account Manager
Assist the Account Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract
Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Account Manager
Arrange specialist sub-contractors
Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Account Manager)
Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
Attend client meetings if required
Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisory)
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary

Up to £50,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
08:00am to 17:00pm
23 Days Holiday
Electrically qualified – Desired
C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 – Essential
C&G 17th Edition or 18th Edition
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Experience of service delivery in high profile office
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
Attend client meetings if required
