A brilliant opportunity to work inhouse for an established company has arisen. My client is looking for a Facilities Supervisor to be based across a portfolio of estates based across South East London and parts of Kent.
 
The successful candidate will have experience in a Maintenance Manager role with experience of managing day to day operation of sites and tasks to ensure they are delivered to a high standard.
 
You will be managing the operational delivery of all estate’s activities and should be able to create positive relationships with all staff and third-party providers.  Your role will lead/assist/support the in the monitoring and delivery of a range of building works and projects, ensuring works are completed to specification and on budget, timescales are met and up-to-date records and drawings are maintained. You will ensure the estate including buildings and grounds are maintained to a safe and secure standard at all times.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
 
To manage the operational delivery of all estate’s activities including PPM across all sites in line with the current SLA’s and direction
To lead operational delivery of a high consistent quality of service across all sites, demonstrated by high performance
To create and manage successful and positive relationships with key staff, estates staff, and third party providers
To manage the procurement procedures and prepare tender documentation in line with Regulations
To set into operation a planned maintenance system and online approach across the group that ensures the timely and quality delivery of our PPM activities
To assist the Head/Deputy of Operations in the specification and monitoring of the purchasing of materials for all projects
Check that agreed work by contractors have been completed satisfactorily and follow up on defects
To maintain statutory compliance within a minimum level of 95% by site and overall across the Group
To lead and manage in all respects the delivery of the planned maintenance function across our estate to meet our needs and requirements
Regular reporting on overall performance is provided (including 3rd party providers) Own/keep maintained asset records (estates assets and equipment)
To lead/assist/support the in the monitoring and delivery of a range of building works and projects, ensuring works are completed to specification and on budget, timescales are met and up-to-date records and drawings are maintained

Requirements
·         Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications - C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 – Essential
·         level 3 Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM)
·         You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
·         Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
·         Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload#
·         Previous Experience in a position working as a Maintenance / Engineering Manager
·         Enhanced DBS
