Site Manager- Commercial Office Building- London, St Pauls- Up to £49,000A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established building services company. My client is looking for a Hands-on Site Manager to be based in a commercial office building situated near London’s St Paul’s & Liverpool Street.
The successful candidate will ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous supervisory experience. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this very modern site. The successful candidate must have a current HV Qualification or a desire to become HV qualified.
Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and hands on tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Report directly into the Account Manager
- Assist the Account Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract
- Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Account Manager
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Account Manager)
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Attend client meetings if required
- Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisory)
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary- Up to £49,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 08:00am to 17:00pm
- On call rota
- Matched pension contribution
Requirements- Electrically qualified
- HV Qualified – Desired
- C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 - Essential
- C&G 17th Edition or 18th Edition
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Experience of service delivery in high profile office
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
- Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Attend client meetings if required
