Exciting opportunity to work for an established fit out and maintenance contractor situated in Glasgow. CBW are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to cover a portfolio of contracts predominantly in Glasgow with the flexibility to travel and work in other parts of Scotland. Contracts range from commercial buildings, refurbishment, maintenance projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in management within a fit out and maintenance role. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000, plus car allowance and the opportunity to work for this great company.

Hours of work


Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be overseeing the Management of 4-5 Site Managers
  • Responsible for the H&S of the sites
  • Work closely with the Contract Support & Technical team to ensure that the service levels are maintained to a consistently high level.
  • Meet with the client to establish steady lines of communication and attend monthly client meetings when required.
  • Responsible for Statutory & Code compliance of sites.
  • Risk Management.
  • Man Management/Team Development.
  • Provide Operational reports monthly and as requested.
  • Investigate and report on major Operational incidents.
  • Carry out monthly site reviews.
  • Attend operational meetings as required
  • Ensure regular communication with the engineering team
  • Ensure customer service levels are maintained.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of managing multiple sites within the fit out / construction sector
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Experience of service delivery across high profile commercial / blue chip site's
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ideally a trade background
  • SMSTS & CSCS
