A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established building services company. My client is looking for a Hands-on Site Manager to be based a short walk from London Victoria Station.

The successful candidate will ideally be from a strong mechanical background with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous supervisory experience. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this modern site.
Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and hands on tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report directly into the Account Manager
  • Assist the Account Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract
  • Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Account Manager
  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors
  • Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Account Manager)
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisory)
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary
  • Up to £42,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday (40 hour week) - 07:00/16:00 - 08:00/17:00 – 10:00/19:00
  • 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of service delivery in high profile office
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
  • Attend client meetings if required
  • Offer technical support to the Contract Manager, client and on-site maintenance team
