CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Foot mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to cover 5 NHS campus sites across London. These 5 sites include working in the home of Arts and Sciences, working in pristine Psychology and Neurosciences facilities, getting to go backstage in a dental institute and working within the Museum which is dedicated to one of England's most famous Nurses. You will be travelling to all 5 sites, when getting to each Campus you’ll join a knowledgeable, friendly team already in place, ready to share their expertise and help you get fully up to speed with the buildings and systems.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, plenty of overtime available, 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, further training and further career progression, Zones 1 & 2 Oyster card to travel round from site to site.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
8am to 5pm
Key duties & responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split units, AHUs, FCUs).
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Perform routine checks, inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, and system testing.
- Ensure all work meets F-Gas and industry compliance standards.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and professionally to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and update job sheets and reports.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of service.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend upgrades where needed.
- Possess relevant and Up To date associated F-GAS and NVQ Qualifications.
- Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment.
- A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry.
- Proven knowledge of a wide spectrum of A/C systems and plan.
- Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork.
- Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective.
- Positive attitude “can do will do”. Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site.
