Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – North East Region – FM Service Provider: HVAC Contractor
CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer
to join our client’s team based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area
. You will work across a variety of client sites including universities, commercial offices, retail outlets and industrial facilities across the Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Teesside regions
.

Package:
- Competitive salary between £42,000 - £44,000 per annum
- Van & fuel card supplied - personal use permitted!
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical services across a wide range of systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and testing of emergency lighting, switchgear, and distribution boards to maintain system reliability and safety.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime and disruption.
- Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and compliance documentation accurately within the CAFM system, ensuring reports are updated and aligned with helpdesk requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date certificates, records, and compliance documentation in line with company and legislative standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
- Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
