We are currently looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join an established FM provider, working across commercial sites throughout the Central Belt of Scotland.
The successful engineer will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive works across a varied range of customer sites. The position will involve diagnosing faults, completing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of air conditioning and HVAC equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and reactive service calls.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and remedial works.
- Identify potential equipment issues and advise on any further works required.
- Complete service reports and relevant technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records.
- Liaise with customers, site contacts and colleagues to ensure work is completed effectively.
- Work in accordance with health and safety procedures and relevant industry regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
- Manage your own workload effectively while working across multiple sites.
- Participate in an on-call rota when required.
- FGAS Category 1 certification.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Experience within commercial, retail or multi-site environments.
