Contract Manager – FM Service Provider – Central London – £70,000 - £75,000 per annum

CBW is currently working in partnership with a leading SME / FM Service Provider to recruit an experienced Contract Manager. This role presents a rare opportunity to oversee the hard services delivery across a high-rise, multi-tenanted commercial building that hosts some of the world’s leading finance, legal, and technology organisations. The building is known for its cutting-edge design, premium amenities, and exceptional engineering infrastructure.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Operations Manager
- Deliver against agreed KPIs and SLAs
- Manage health & safety, compliance, and environmental performance
- Plan and oversee building shutdowns and complex project works
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures across the site
- Lead on staff recruitment, training, and development (including annual appraisals)
- Handle staff absenteeism and disciplinary processes as required
- Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact
- Oversee reporting and documentation
- Identify and develop additional business opportunities to increase revenue and client satisfaction
- Provide technical support to both client and engineering team
- Manage the permit system
- Attend and lead on client meetings
- Have a strong commercial understanding (P&L, budgeting, forecasting)
- Qualified in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) – C&G, HNC, HND or higher
- Strong background in hard FM service delivery in commercial environments
- Experience managing an FM engineering team
- Solid track record in commercial building maintenance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload
- Strong client-facing and customer service skills
