CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of all hard FM services across a commercial estate in London Bridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple commercial buildings within the estate, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational performance across all sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people manager with a proven background in hard FM and commercial building maintenance, managing a team of up to 10 engineers and supervisors within a high-profile estate environment.

Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Operations Manager
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of hard FM services across a multi-building commercial estate
- Manage a team of up to 10 engineers and supervisors
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently
- Monitor and manage agreed KPIs and SLAs to ensure contract performance targets are achieved
- Take full responsibility for health, safety, and environmental compliance across the estate
- Coordinate maintenance activities, shutdowns, and small project works
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and statutory regulations
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of engineering staff
- Conduct appraisals, manage attendance, and handle disciplinary procedures where required
- Oversee permit-to-work systems and ensure safe systems of work are followed
- Manage all contract reporting requirements and attend regular client meetings
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and add value to the contract
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team
- Qualified in an Engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical – C&G, HNC, HND or above)
- Proven experience managing hard FM services within commercial buildings or estates
- Experience managing engineering teams within a commercial maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of building services and statutory compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a busy commercial estate
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Experience managing budgets and contract performance
