Exciting opportunity to join a direct client based within a landmark commercial office in Canary Wharf, East London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to be part of a high-performing on-site engineering team, delivering first-class maintenance within a fast-paced, high-spec environment.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) with a strong background in commercial building services. Working as part of a large and supportive team, you will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the building.

Hours of Work:
- 4 on 4 off (Days Only)
- 07:00 am – 19:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
- Maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, and air conditioning units
- Monitor and reset chillers and carry out basic fault diagnosis
- Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold trends)
- Monitor UPS systems and take readings
- Maintain pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
- Carry out emergency lighting testing
- Support general mechanical maintenance across site
- Work collaboratively within a large on-site engineering team
- Ensure high standards of service delivery across landlord and tenant areas

Requirements:
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Experience within critical or high-end commercial environments (desirable)
- Ability to work at heights (training provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional and client-facing approach
