CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join a leading health-care campus in Surrey. This site is a modern, state-of-the-art facility with multiple specialist areas and cutting-edge equipment.
You will be part of a small, skilled team of 3 engineers who know the site inside out and will help you get up to speed quickly. The campus supports a large workforce and offers excellent amenities including multiple food outlets and break areas, ensuring you have everything you need during your working day.

Package and working hours:

Key duties & responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- reporting to your line manager with any issues.
- escorting sub-contractors around the site
- Maintain and test emergency power systems, including generators, UPS units, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
- Respond promptly to electrical faults that impact critical areas such as operating rooms, ICU, and labs.
- Reactive works on air handling units, fan coil units.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages, and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with hospital policies, national electrical codes, and health care facility regulations.
- City and Guilds 18th Edition
- Level 2 or 3 electrical installations
- Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care environment preferred.
- HV or LV knowledge (not essential)
- General Knowledge of electrical systems.
