Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with day-to-day coordination of electrical tasks and contractor management.
- Provide on-the-spot technical guidance to colleagues and act as the team’s electrical point of expertise.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, testing, installations, and commissioning across lighting, power distribution, control systems, LV infrastructure, and temporary/event setups.
- Install, test, and commission temporary electrical systems (power, lighting rigs, distribution boards, broadcast, and hospitality areas) for major events.
- Ensure all electrical systems (permanent and temporary) are fully operational, compliant, and presented to the highest standards.
- Monitor and maintain critical systems including UPS, BMS, emergency lighting, and temporary power systems.
- Respond rapidly to electrical faults, especially during major events, to minimise disruption.
- Ensure all work fully complies with business and regulatory health, safety, and legislative requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and post-event reviews for compliance and continuous improvement.
