Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a cluster of prestigious commercial buildings in Central London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial contract, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a high-profile environment. Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
- Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
- Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing and maintenance
- Monitor and operate BMS systems, including temperature and plant checks
- Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and associated plant equipment
- Complete minor plumbing repairs and general building fabric maintenance when required
- Maintain accurate compliance records, logbooks, and maintenance reports
- Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain strong communication with client representatives and site management
- Remain flexible and assist with additional maintenance duties within skill set when required
Package:

Requirements:
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of mechanical and general building services systems
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or within a team
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
