Exciting opportunity to join a leading FM service provider based at a prestigious commercial office building in White City, West London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a high-end static commercial contract, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems while supporting the day-to-day running of the site.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a client-facing environment. Although the role is primarily based in White City, occasional cover may be required at sites in Paddington and Farringdon, with all travel expenses covered.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services systems
- Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
- Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing in line with maintenance schedules
- Monitor and operate BMS systems, including heating, cooling, and environmental controls
- Carry out maintenance on AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning
- Support the day-to-day running of the contract alongside site management
- Arrange, escort, and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
- Maintain accurate logbooks, compliance paperwork, and audit-ready maintenance records
- Attend client meetings and maintain strong communication with client representatives
- Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Assist with general building services maintenance across the site when required

Requirements:
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services systems
- Previous experience within a high-end commercial or residential environment is beneficial
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
