CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider based at a prestigious commercial building in Hursley, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer to join a well-established maintenance team carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a modern commercial site.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial building maintenance and be confident carrying out a range of electrical and general building services tasks. Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 17:00
- 1 in 4 Call-Out Rota (£280 Standby Payment)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Fault finding on lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
- Emergency lighting testing, lamp and ballast replacements.
- Monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Carrying out general M&E and basic fabric maintenance.
- Maintaining pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation units.
- Completing compliance checks and maintaining accurate logbooks.
- Undertaking basic plumbing repairs, including taps and toilet blockages.
- Escorting specialist subcontractors and ensuring work is completed safely.
- Liaising with the client and supporting the wider engineering team to deliver a high standard of service.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Package:

Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building services
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
