CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a client-direct maintenance team at a prestigious commercial campus in South Kensington, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable, long-term position within a high-quality environment. Working as part of the onsite engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and general building services.
In return, the client is offering a salary of up to £44,000, an excellent 21% employer pension contribution, generous annual leave and a strong overall benefits package.
Hours of Work:
- Day shift – 2 on, 2 off, 3 on / 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
- Weekdays – 07:00 – 19:00
- Weekends – 08:00 – 16:00
- On-call and attendance bonuses available
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the campus.
- Completing electrical, mechanical and general building services maintenance.
- Electrical fault finding, lighting repairs, lamp changes and small installation works.
- Maintaining power distribution systems and replacing ballasts where required.
- Carrying out emergency lighting testing and associated remedial works.
- Maintaining AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.
- Completing water temperature checks and basic water hygiene duties.
- Monitoring BMS systems and reporting faults or irregularities.
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues and resolving faults efficiently.
- Coordinating and supervising specialist subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate logbooks, PPM records and compliance documentation.
- Attending client meetings where required.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 2 / 3 in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations if electrically qualified.
- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
- Multi-skilled approach with knowledge of wider building services.
- Good communication and client-facing skills.
- Comfortable working as part of an onsite engineering team.
- Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
