CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within a commercial building in Oxford Circus, London. The successful candidate will join an established 4-man engineering team and will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical and general building maintenance.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in electrical building maintenance. - Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 17:00pm
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the building
- Carry out fault finding and repairs on electrical systems
- Electrical testing and inspection
- Lighting and emergency lighting maintenance
- Small power and socket repairs
- Basic electrical installations and remedial works
- Monitor and maintain electrical plant and equipment
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests
- Monitor the BMS systems
- Carry out basic mechanical and plumbing duties where required
- General building fabric maintenance
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors
- Work collaboratively as part of a 4-man engineering team
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in line with company and site procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and remedial works
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Previous experience working within a commercial FM environment
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services
- Good communication skills
- Client-facing experience
