Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 PA + Overtime

CBW are currently working with a leading and well-established compliance and engineering services provider that is trusted nationwide. As the business continues to grow year on year, they are now looking to expand their Fire & Smoke Safety Division with the appointment of an experienced Fire Damper Engineer.

This is a key role carrying out statutory fire damper inspections and delivering remedial works to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant, and operational at all times.

Working across a variety of commercial, healthcare, and public sector sites, you will be responsible for inspections in line with BS 9999, TR19, and SFG20 standards, alongside remedial tasks such as access panel installations, fusible link replacement, fault finding, full fire damper replacements, and fire stopping works.

This role requires flexibility to work varied shift patterns, travel to sites across the UK, and occasionally stay away when required.

Essential Requirements

• Proven, hands-on experience in fire damper testing and compliance
  
  
• Ability to fault find and carry out corrective works
  
  
• Strong health & safety awareness and compliance mindset
  
  
• Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
  
  
• Full UK driving licence
  
  
• DBS Clearance
  
  

• Relevant qualifications in fire damper inspection or remedials
  
  
• IOSH certification
  
  
• CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, or similar certifications
  
  

• £35,000 – £38,000 per annum + attractive overtime rates
  
  
• Company van, fuel card, tools, and PPE provided
  
  
• Ongoing training in remedials, replacements, and fire stopping
