Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and qualified Fire Door Surveyor to support our growing team on a mobile basis across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will carry out thorough fire door inspections and produce professional, detailed reports in line with industry standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed fire door inspections and surveys in line with industry regulations (BS 8214, BM TRADA, etc.)

  • Identify non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for remedial action

  • Prepare clear, professional reports using digital reporting tools

  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

  • Support Passive Fire Protection projects where required

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire door standards and compliance regulations

RequirementsQualifications & Experience:

  • Recognised Fire Door Inspection qualification (FDIS, BRE, BM TRADA, or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in fire door surveying within Passive Fire Protection

  • Strong understanding of current legislation and compliance standards

Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule

  • Confident communicator with strong customer service skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence(Essential)

  • Willingness to travel throughout Manchester and surrounding areas

  • Right to work in the UK
