The Opportunity
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing companies of it's type in London. Currently there are opportunities within the organisation for fabric engineers due to growth within the company.
As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you'll work across a portfolio of high-end commercial office buildings. You'll also assist with quoted works and tenant maintenance projects. This role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression into senior roles such as Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic lighting
- Basic Carpentry and plumbing
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Assist the maintenance team on site
- Escort sub-contractors
- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc
S alary & Package
- Up to £40,000 depending on discipline, certificates and experience
- Zones 1–2 Travelcard

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial building maintenance
- Good understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
- Confident, client-facing, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Willing to travel within Zones 1–2 and work semi-static across key sites
