General Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Tenant Areas – Moorgate, London  - up to £38,000 per annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Moorgate, London. CBW is recruiting a General Maintenance Engineer to work across 12 floors of a Corporate office building. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most building services duties. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £38,000, overtime and further training.

 Package & Working hours
  • Up to £38,000
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, 
  • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays rising to 28 + Bank holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • General fabric repairs
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Water flushing / temp checks logs
 
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in electrical or mechanical trade
  • Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of most building fabric duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Health & Safety experience
  • Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
