CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a facilities management team at a site in Wetherby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to develop their career, with a clear progression route into a High Voltage (HV) Electrician position. Full training and relevant HV qualifications will be fully funded by the employer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across the site
- Ensure all electrical maintenance is completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Assist with general building services maintenance where required
- Complete maintenance records and ensure all work is accurately documented
- Support the wider engineering team in maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure
- Undertake full HV training and qualifications, progressing towards an HV Electrician position
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within facilities management or a commercial environment
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in developing a career within high voltage engineering
