My client is looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in West London. The successful candidates will ideally have an Electrically qualification (C&G / NVQ 2 or 3, 18th edition). Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out Electrical and General building maintenance in a commercial environment.
Hours of work & Salary
- Continental Shift - 07:00am-19:00pm / 19:00pm -07:00am
- Plenty of Overtime Available
- Salary £40-42k
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Lighting – lamp changes, ballast changes
- Emergency light testing
- Power distribution
- Electrical fault-finding
- Small works – new sockets, new lights, new circuits
- PAT Testing
- Control Panel maintenance
- Chillers - Re-set
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Water Treatment
Requirements
- Experience working in a large commercial building, willing to learn
- Electrical maintenance experience working in a commercial environment
- DBS required
- Electrical qualifications ( NVQ 2 or 3 / C&G )
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- Prior experience working in commercial building maintenance advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start
- Availability for a teams call prior to starting
