Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a high-profile commercial building in Colindale, North West London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static site, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all mechanical and building services systems.
The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and a good understanding of general building services. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company offering excellent overtime, training, and long-term career progression.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical plant and building services
- Monitor and maintain mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
- Carry out plumbing duties, including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers, and general pipework repairs
- Maintain and service AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Carry out water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and system monitoring
- Undertake basic electrical duties such as lamp changes when required
- Complete general building fabric maintenance across the site
- Ensure all compliance checks and logbooks are accurately maintained and up to date
- Diagnose faults and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime
- Maintain strong communication with client representatives and site management
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Package:
- Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
- Call-Out: 1 in 4 (£149 per week)

Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
