CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial estate in Uxbridge.
You will be working as part of a small, two-man engineering team alongside a Lead Engineer, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background and previous experience maintaining commercial buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity offering a salary of up to £48,000, a Monday-to-Friday working pattern and, importantly, no call-out rota.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00–17:00
- No call-out
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the commercial estate.
- Work alongside the Lead Engineer as part of a two-man maintenance team.
- Maintain AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.
- Complete water treatment checks and temperature monitoring.
- Carry out general plumbing repairs and unblocking.
- Monitor BMS systems and report any faults or issues.
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site.
- Maintain accurate site logbooks and maintenance records.
- Salary up to £48,000 per annum.
- Monday-to-Friday working hours, 08:00–17:00.
- No call-out rota.
- Level 2 Mechanical qualification as a minimum – essential.
- Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Professional, presentable and confident when dealing with clients.
