Exciting opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned building services provider as a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and HVAC equipment across multiple sites, ensuring systems operate efficiently and in line with compliance standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in air conditioning and mechanical maintenance, with experience in both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service while maintaining strong client relationships and adhering to health & safety regulations.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
- Additional out-of-hours / weekend work as required
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and mechanical plant
- Service and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Diagnose faults across mechanical and air conditioning equipment and implement effective solutions
- Complete routine inspections and servicing in line with PPM schedules
- Maintain pumps, pressurisation units, and associated mechanical systems
- Accurately complete reports, certifications, and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all logbooks are updated and maintained correctly on site
- Follow a structured and logical approach to all maintenance tasks
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and risk assessments
- Liaise with clients, tenants, and site teams to manage expectations and maintain service standards
- Minimise repeat visits, reduce downtime, and ensure efficient use of materials and resources
- Work independently or as part of a wider engineering team

Requirements:
- Relevant air conditioning / HVAC qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Proven experience working on mechanical and M&E systems
- Strong knowledge of PPM schedules and maintenance procedures
- Experience servicing pumps, pressurisation units, and HVAC plant
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
