About the Role
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Mobile Handyman / Furniture Installation Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. Working across London and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of high-end office furniture within corporate environments.
This is a varied, client-facing role that requires excellent practical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and assembly of premium office furniture, including:
- Desks
- Monitor arms
- Office chairs
- Storage solutions and accessories
- Carrying out furniture repairs, adjustments, and maintenance.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with client expectations.
- Providing a professional and courteous service within corporate office environments.
- Managing installations across multiple sites throughout London and surrounding areas.
- Completing occasional out-of-hours installation work, with overtime paid.
Requirements
- Previous experience in furniture installation, handyman services, fit-out, facilities, or a similar field.
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Professional appearance and approach when working on client sites.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
