Company Overview:
CBW is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected family-owned construction company specialising in Passive Fire Protection, Compartmentation Surveys, and Fire Risk Assessments. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, safety-driven services, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Project Manager.
Role Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee and deliver multiple Passive Fire Protection projects across London and the South East. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of each project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to industry standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong industry knowledge and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver Passive Fire Protection projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks
- Ensure projects meet safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and budgets
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
- Support tender and bid processes where necessary
- Proven experience in Passive Fire Protection project management
- Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire compartmentation, and relevant regulations
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., BM Trada, FIRAS, NVQ Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel across London and the South East
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment processes
- Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects
