About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to join our Engineering Division in the City of London. This is a people management role, offering the opportunity to lead a team, streamline administrative processes, and support the infrastructure management team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line management of administrative staff, including defining roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives.
- Validation and assurance of all administrative reports, metrics, and budget reporting.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the infrastructure management team.
- Manage accurate commercial reporting, accounting, and invoicing.
- Maintain the Help Desk function as a key supplier interface contact.
- Collate, manage, and present various performance metrics, including 3rd party KPI and SLA indicators.
- Function as 3rd party escalation for administrative tasks and ensure commercial compliance.
- Maintain business continuity plans, statutory property logbooks, and compliance databases.
- Organise training schedules, CPD sessions, and staff onboarding processes.
- Support Health & Safety and Well-being initiatives within the team.
- Oversee team holidays, expenses, sickness, and shift schedules.
- Attend meetings to present reports and contribute to decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- City & Guilds Level 2/3 (or transferable) in Business & Administration.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
- Experience in an engineering administrative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and judgment based on defined procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively and leverage team skills and knowledge.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective prioritisation and time management under pressure.
