Maintenance Shift Engineer   Commercial Building – Victoria, West London

  4 days on 4 days off (Days Only)

CBW Staffing Solutions  are currently seeking a reliable and experienced  Maintenance Shift Engineer  to join a leading FM provider, working within a large, high-profile commercial building in  Victoria, London.

You’ll Lead a tight-knit 3 -person engineering team, delivering both  planned and reactive maintenance  across a modern, technically complex site. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in  commercial facilities maintenance  who thrives in a client-facing, fast-paced environment. 

  What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out  PPM and reactive electrical maintenance
  
  
• Handling  lighting systems, ballast changes, lamping, and fault-finding
  
  
• Performing  emergency lighting tests, distribution board work, and control panel tasks
  
  
• Monitoring and responding to  BMS systems  (hot/cold issues)
  
  
• Supporting basic  fabric and mechanical maintenance  (pumps, motors, water flushing)
  
  
• Attending client meetings and providing a professional on-site presence
  
  
• Maintaining  logbooks, permits to work, and compliance documentation
  
  
• Managing subcontractors and assisting with  site operations
  
  

• Level 3 Qualification  (C&G or equivalent)
  
  
• 18th Edition  Wiring Regulations
  
  
• Job Logic  (or similar CAFM) experience
  
  
• Strong knowledge of  commercial building systems
  
  
• Multi-skilled, with a proactive mindset
  
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  
  
• A client-first attitude and professional presentation
