A leading facilities management service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join a prestigious, high-spec commercial office building in the heart of the City of London.

This is a hands-on engineering role, ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, critical environment. You will be fully involved in day-to-day engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works efficiently via the maintenance system
- Carry out hands-on maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve plant faults quickly to minimise downtime
- Conduct regular quality checks on work, documentation, and housekeeping standards
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and job sheets

- Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (recognised certification) Level 3 Required
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, ideally within critical environments (e.g. banking, corporate, or blue-chip sites)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with multi-skilled capabilities
- Experience working with HVAC, chillers, pumps, AHUs, and building plant systems
- Excellent communication skills
