CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fire Suppression / Sprinkler Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, covering a portfolio of seven high-end residential buildings across Canary Wharf, Greenwich, and South West London. This is a foot mobile role, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across sprinkler systems, fire suppression equipment, and dry/wet riser installations.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on commercial or residential fire suppression systems and be looking to join a well-established business offering further training, excellent benefits, and long-term career progression.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 am – 17:00 pm
- Friday: 07:30 am – 16:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on fire suppression and sprinkler systems.
- Servicing sprinkler flow switches, including flow and signal testing.
- Maintaining commercial and residential sprinkler set systems.
- Completing dry and wet riser servicing and associated remedial works.
- Responding to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs across the estate.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on fire suppression systems.
- Maintaining accurate service reports, compliance records, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Liaising with site management, residents, and specialist contractors where required.
Package:
- Up to £50,000 PAYE (depending on experience)
- Up to £220 per day CIS (depending on experience)

Requirements:
- Previous experience working on sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
- Knowledge of domestic and commercial sprinkler installations.
- Experience with dry and wet riser servicing or maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical, Fire Systems, or similar engineering qualification.
- Good understanding of current fire safety regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
