Technical Services Manager – Blue Chip Building – Victoria - Up to 70K

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading companies in the facilities industry.

They currently maintain a number of facilities and maintenance contracts across the UK and are looking for a Technical Services Manager to work on a high profile contract based in Victoria.

The building itself is truly unique and offers a totally different working environment. 

The Technical Services Manager will be working alongside the Account Manager and will be responsible for all the technical services in the building, making sure they run smoothly and there is no disruption to the day to day client activities. 

Duties of the role will include the following:

  • Manage all technical issues across the building.
  • Issuing permits to work
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s.
  • Responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance on site.
  • Plan and implement shutdowns 
  • Management of reports.
  • Responsible for the permit system.
  • Managing the engineers and offering technical support and guidance.
Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
  • Strong understanding of building management systems.
  • Previous HV experience 
  • Strong technical engineering understanding.
  • Previous experience of managing contractors. 
  • Experience of service delivery in high profile financial offices or critical buildings.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
