Technical Services Manager - Central London - Blue chip buildings - 65K

One of the UK's leading service providers is currently looking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to work across a collection of blue-chip buildings based in Central London. 

As a company, they manage properties for a number of well known commercial clients and are considered one of the best in their field.

The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all technical and service operations across the buildings are maintained to a very high standard.

There will also be a high level of responsibility with regards to compliance, technical systems and contractor management across the contracts.    

Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate a strong M&E understanding with excellent people skills. 

The main duties will also include:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team across the portofile of buildings.
  • Work closely with the account manager to make sure that the desired level of service is achieved.
  • Manage and work alongside the appointed sub-contractors.
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s.
  • Responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance on site.
  • Responsible for managing the company’s quality procedures on site.
  • Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.
  • Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.
  • Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
  • Management of all reports.
  • Responsible for the permit system.
Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Qualified in engineering discipline (elec of mech); C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
  • Strong technical engineering understanding.
  • Previous experience of managing engineering teams.
  • Experience of service delivery in high profile offices.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise demanding and varying workload.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
The package for this role includes:
  • Salary 65K.
